The Welsh Government require a delivery partner to provide technology solutions for the new Welsh Revenue Authority digital tax collection and management system.
The successful company will be required to design, build and implement a digital system to support the collection and management of devolved taxes in Wales, using agile methodologies.
The Welsh Revenue Authority will be responsible for collecting and managing devolved taxes in Wales. To support it in delivering these functions, it requires an end to end, digital tax collection and management system. The aspiration is to base the system on Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) technologies, where possible.
The devolved taxes are Land Transaction Tax (LTT), replacing UK Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) and Landfill Disposals Tax (LDT), replacing UK Landfill Tax (LfT).
