This ICT Sector Impact project is an extensive research project on the technology industry in Wales.
What will it achieve?
A long-term permanent solution in the form of a live database that clearly identifies what Wales has to offer, and where the current gaps exist.
The potential impact of the information held within this database is monumental for the ICT industry in Wales. It will enable us to:
- Run detailed reports on the industry in Wales.
- Analyse the ICT sector, spotting areas of expertise and potential for clusters
- Determine how many currently trade internationally and what support they need to develop further.
- Unearth industry trends
- Understand the number of people employed within the industry
In short, it will significantly improve industry information and therefore create opportunities for the entire industry.
How can I get involved?
The project is well underway. If you are a member and within the ESTnet footprint you will have heard from our researcher, Jon Bevan or one of his colleagues. If not, then please contact Jon at firstname.lastname@example.org.
To succeed we need the participation and commitment of the wider ICT sector in Wales. To complete the online online survey click here. It should take approximately 45 minutes to complete. You will be able to save progress and return at a later date.
All those who complete the survey will be entered in to a prize draw to win a free table at the ESTnet Awards 2016 on 2 March 2016.
