In a fresh approach to the quarterly gatherings, members were assigned to small focus groups where they were encouraged to discuss the key issues impacting their business, their thoughts on ESTnet activity and how the network can work best for its members. There was also an opportunity through group discussion to explain how the their business could help others in the group, potentially opening doors for collaboration.
The ESTnet team were on hand to ensure all key points were captured, which included thoughts on education and skills, future business challenges and export. Findings will be used to influence discussion with key stakeholders both in Wales and the rest of the UK in the next few months, they will also be made available to members through the ESTnet bulletin.
Following the success of this format the ESTnet hope to undertake similar sessions at future members meetings. If you have any thoughts or further feedback please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
