The ESTnet North Wales Business Networking event took place on Monday, 8 April at the Racecourse ground, home of Wrexham F.C and the world's oldest international football stadium.
It was an excellent opportunity for the growing membership base in North and Mid Wales to meet the ESTnet Board members and representatives from some of the most prominent companies in the country and for some the opportunity to present their offer to these organisations via a five minute pitch.
Organisation who pitched were:
- ESP KTN
There was also an opportunity for members and guests to experience first hand the ESTnet Knowledge Vault, an exciting new member benefit which provides a searchable database of potential customers and suppliers who are looking to do business in Wales.
Richard Glover of web development company GloverSure, said,
"This was my first attendance at an ESTnet event and the number and quality
of contacts I made was excellent. I now fully intend engaging more with
ESTnet. I already now have a contact from an ESTnet member that will allow
GloverSure to bid for a wider range of tenders"
Event organiser Idris Price, ESTnet Director and North Wales representative, said,
" It is always a pleasure to host an ESTnet Business Networking event in North Wales. I particularly enjoyed the pitches by each of the software companies, it illustrated the high quality we have in the software technologies industry within the region and the appetite to develop a local supply chain."
