Launching the Awards, ESTnet Chairman Ian Menzies said,

“The ESTnet Awards has the potential to instil pride in those of us who work in the industry, it recognises what the industry has achieved and what is possible.

Importantly, from talking to members since those first Awards we know that participation has resulted in new business opportunities, with several companies having been approached to work on new projects as a direct result of their participation in the ESTnet Awards 2013.”

David Davies, Managing Director of Axiom Manufacturing Services Ltd, winners of the SME of the Year Award in March said,

“ Just as Welsh rugby prowess was the heart and soul of the Lions success down under this summer, Welsh technological strength is becoming a cutting edge of Britain’s global performance. The ESTnet Awards certainly strengthened our feeling that we belong at our industry’s top table and that for us, as a company, was very valuable indeed.”
